Techno Brain India Achieves ISO 9001: 2008 Certification

Techno Brain, Africa’s leading IT Solutions provider, today announced that its India Research and Development Centre has achieved ISO 9001: 2008 Certification. The accreditation was issued by the International Standards for Organization (ISO) based on a rigorous audit of Techno Brain’s practices involving software development and maintenance of customised IT solutions.

“Techno Brain now has six country offices that have achieved ISO 9001: 2008 certification. Both our R&D centres in India and Kenya have already been appraised at CMMI Level 3, and are soon to be appraised at CMMI Level 5. Such achievements in quality are testament to our continuing pursuit of global excellence, and reiterate our commitment to our clients.” said Anand Mohan, Managing Director, Asia.

ISO 9001:2008 is used in 175 countries as the framework for software quality management systems (QMS). An ISO certification demonstrates an organization’s ability and consistency in providing products and services that meet or exceed customer satisfaction, performance and regulatory requirements. The ISO audit of Techno Brain’s India Centre was performed by DCS Consultants and Assessors, a Hyderabad based auditing firm.

“This certification is a cornerstone of our on-going efforts to provide our customers with the highest-quality products and services available. We uphold stringent standards for product quality, efficiency and performance. This focus enables us to provide service and value that outperforms our competition.” said Manoj Shanker, Group CEO, Techno Brain
